Painting “Meeting of the Central Committee of the RSDLP (b) on October 23 (10), 1917” (“Historic decision on armed uprising on October 10, 1917 under the chairmanship of V.I. Lenin”)
In 1931 this painting became the property of the Museum of the Revolution. In the fall of 1935 the painting entered the Central Museum of V.I. Lenin and was exhibited for the first time. In 1950-1951, at the time of checking museum’s collections, it was decided to transfer the painting to the special storage of the USSR Ministry of State Security (MGB), since it contained images of exposed enemies of the people: Zinoviev, Kamenev and Bubnov. The canvas remained in the museum’s special storage fund for 60 years.
