The funds of the Museum of V.I. Lenin contain an authorized copy of the painting “Assassination Attempt on V.I. Lenin in 1918.” The artist began work on the canvas in 1924.
By the beginning of March 1926, the work was completed, and the artist organized its viewing in his studio. The first spectators were members of the government and leaders of the artists’ union.
