Painting “V.I. Lenin is hunting in Gorky»
USSR, Moscow. 1946.
Lenin became an avid hunter in Siberia – in Shushenskoye, where he was exiled after being imprisoned on the case of the Petersburg “Union for the Liberation of the Working Class”. He quickly got acquainted with local hunters, got a dog, hunting boots and began to disappear on the hunt. For so long that when his future wife and mother-in-law came to Shushenskoye, there was no one to meet them, since the groom was out hunting.
