Painting “V. I. Lenin at the age of four”
RSFSR, Moscow. 1920.
Original
Canvas, oil

In 1920 Parkhomenko painted his first portrait of V.I. Lenin based on a photograph by S. Nappelbaum.
The portrait was painted as a gift to the Leader for the next anniversary of the October Revolution. The author failed to give this work to Lenin himself, and gave it to N.K. Krupskaya. Since 1928 this portrait was in the Museum of the Revolution, then it was transferred to the Museum of V.I. Lenin.
